More space and planet tests! Playing around with the sky atmosphere settings to produce a very different mood and feel to the same (Martian!) base textures. Still unsure of the proper atmosphere colours, but this is much closer to the actual Martian atmosphere and approaching something like Arrakis from Dune.
Trying to find a good way to incorporate volumetric clouds but in the end, it was far too unstable at these scales and kept glitching – so a simple texture map for the clouds it was…
Really having fun with more space stuff – I might go ahead and see if I can try to do the solar system – the gas giants would look pretty sweet!
